Gloucestershire Music Service Music Tutors – Woodwind, Brass and String Specialists

Grade 9 (Pro rata, term time only [30 weeks a year] salary)

Variety of hours available (pay includes prep time depending on role and annual leave allowance. Mileage claims can also be made)

Weekday role (although some weekend and evening work may also be available for candidates who are interested and have the relevant skills).

We are looking for music teaching specialists who are able to teach strings (upper and lower), brass (upper and lower) and woodwind (clarinet, flute and recorder) in particular to join our team of ‘Whole Class Ensemble Tuition’ (WCET) tutors who can offer a range of services to schools to deliver WCET, small group and individual tuition. 


This role will involve motivating and inspiring children between the ages of 5-18yrs to beginning learning an instrument and helping them develop early musicianship skills. The successful candidates will be working as part of a wider professional team of music tutors dedicated to offering high quality music education in line with the National Plan for Music Education and the associated progression routes offered by Gloucestershire Music.
