Please note that all face-to-face rehearsals and concerts have been cancelled until further notice, keeping in line with the Government’s direction on COVID-19. Nominations open for Gloucestershire County Youth Choir

Nominations are now open for new members to join the Gloucestershire County Youth Choir.

Recommendations have traditionally been given by Heads of Music and Singing Teachers from Secondary Schools around Gloucestershire but we would also like to hear from other community music leaders, singing tutors and music educators who would like to nominate talented singers who might be involved in their community groups/choirs or who they might teach.

We have some fantastic courses coming up – the first one will be held in Gloucester on 17th – 19th February 2016 to learn the wonderful African/Jazz inspired work ‘Zimbe!’ by Alexander L’Estrange, which will be performed at the majestic Gloucester Cathedral.

If you would like to nominate somebody aged 11 – 18 then please email gloucestershiremusic@gmail.com by 12th February 2016.
