CENTRE OPENING TIMES

We are delighted to be able to partially reopen Colwell Arts Centre from the 26th April 2021 on a strict appointment-only basis. To collect, return or exchange an instrument, please contact us at glosmusic@gloucestershire.gov.uk to make an appointment.

Whilst we are unable to provide you with our normal music lessons, music centres, county music groups and events due to Government restrictions we are putting our efforts into providing you with some educational, fun, inspiring links to enable you to keep your music making going! Click here for more information.

NEW ONLINE ENSEMBLE SESSIONS

Please note that all face-to-face rehearsals and concerts have been cancelled until further notice, keeping in line with the Government’s direction on COVID-19. However, we are delighted to announce the launch of our online ensemble sessions, open to anyone in Gloucestershire. Please click here for more details.

How to return an instrument

Instrument return slip

Before returning your instrument, download our 'Conditions of Hire'.  At the bottom of the form there is an 'Instrument return slip'.  This should be completed and signed by the person receiving the instrument (this will either be a member of staff at Colwell or at your child's school).  Please keep this slip - it is your proof that you no longer have the instrument should there be any query in the future.

Returning your instrument to Colwell

Instruments can be returned directly to Colwell Arts Centre, Derby Road, Gloucester. GL1 4AD.  Our opening hours are:

Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 4.30pm

Friday 8.30am to 4pm

Closed on Bank Holidays

During school holidays please ring first (01452 427242) as there are occasions when the office may be closed for short periods of time.

Returning your instrument to your child's school

Alternatively, if your child attends a Gloucestershire LEA/Academy school, it may be possible to return the instrument to the school office. Please contact us on 01452 427242 to discuss this before leaving the instrument at the school.
